EN-D & CCC Competition Paragliders
The pinnacle of free flight performance.
The Formula 1 of Paragliding
The EN-D and CCC (Civl Competition Class) categories represent the absolute limit of what is currently possible in paraglider design. These wings are designed with one goal: Efficiency. They offer the highest glide ratios, the highest top speeds, and the ability to cut through headwinds that would ground lower-class wings.
Who is this for?
This equipment is strictly for Expert Pilots.
-
Flight Time: Recommended for those flying 100+ hours per year in active air.
-
Skills: Pilots must have mastered SIV (Simulation d'Incident de Vol) and active piloting. Recovery from collapses on an EN-D wing requires immediate, precise, and often counter-intuitive pilot input.
-
Goal: Cross Country leagues, World Cup racing, or breaking distance records.
2-Liner Technology
Almost all modern EN-D wings are "2-Liners" (having only A and B risers). This creates a direct connection between the pilot's hands and the wing's angle of attack.
-
B-Riser Steering: You can control the wing entirely using the rear risers while on speed bar, allowing you to glide through turbulence without losing performance.
-
Rigidity: Extensive internal structure (rods and diagonals) keeps the profile solid at high speeds.
CCC vs. EN-D
While both are for experts, CCC is a specific subset designed for the Paragliding World Cup. These wings (like the BGD Diva) have stricter measurement tolerances and longer aspect ratios (often 7.5+) than standard EN-D wings (like the Gin Leopard).
Safety Note
We reserve the right to verify pilot experience before selling EN-D or CCC equipment. These wings do not have the passive safety features of the A, B, or C classes.
