The BGD Lynx 2 is a lightweight EN-C 2.5-liner that delivers sports-class performance in a package light enough for serious vol-biv and mountain XC. Weighing just 3.2–4.3 kg, it’s built for ambitious pilots who want to carry their wing up and then fly far once they’re in the air.
Born from the BGD Performance Quest project, the Lynx 2 shares the family traits of the Cure 3 — high arc, short lines, tapered planform, and raked wingtips. The 2.5-line layout gives reduced drag compared to a full three-liner, with unsheathed lines further minimising parasitic losses. The C-riser steering provides precise pitch control with a comfortable two-liner feel.
Despite its lightweight construction, the Lynx 2 is a genuinely capable cross-country machine. It climbs efficiently, glides exceptionally, and handles with the precision and feedback that experienced pilots need in demanding mountain conditions. BGD’s progressive stability design keeps the centre solid while the tips communicate what the air is doing.
